Call for Volunteers – Moore County Conservative Unity Picnic

After the House vote to enact a health care reforms that the majority of Americans do not want, your assistance is needed!

In a strong effort to unite conservatives across our county, the County Republican Party will host a Conservative Unity Picnic on Sunday afternoon, 16 May from Noon to 4:00 p.m. at Cannon Park in Pinehurst.  The objective of this event is to raise funds to support conservative candidates.  Advance tickets will be sold.  Cost will be $15 per adult, $10 per active duty military member and spouse, and $7 for children. Entertainment will be provided.

Our men's and women's clubs will have several hundred tickets to sell.  The best way to do this is to divide up our share of tickets among selected members.  I would like to get 26-30 members to be “Lunch Table Managers” at our 8 April Men's Club lunch meeting.  Their task will be to sell tickets among the members at their tables.  If you want to directly contribute to the defeat of the Democrats in November, this is your chance.  I am the “Lunch Table Manager” for the Executive Committee.

Another opportunity:  I also need three good men to assist at the sign-in table at the picnic on 16 May.

Please step up and do your part!  The future of the nation depends on it!

If you would like to volunteer, call Lane Toomey (910)695-8852.

Along with your chairman, many of our members, if not most, are interested in getting  involved or increasing their involvement in the issue of "life". There are also good Republicans who do not support the pro life movement. Your chairman is interested in keeping all Republicans involved in the many issues upon which we all agree, including the issue of limited government and lower taxes. Therefore, we welcome your involvement on this issue. We also explain to many other members that your involvement on the other issues upon which we all agree is appreciated.

Bob Levy, Moore County Republican Chairman
